Muscat: Three Omanis were killed today morning when their car hit a
stationary object in Kamil Al Wafi in the south-east region of Oman,
according to a Royal Oman Police (ROP) press release.
-The driver lost control at a sharp bend and hit a boulder,- a spokesperson for ROP�s public relations department said.
He added that the impact of the collision was so bad owing to the speed of the vehicle that all three occupants died on the spot. The police had to extricate the bodies by cutting open the vehicle.
The police have urged motorists to follow speed limits and be vigilant on roads.-GN-
