Mangalore:
Seemanth Kumar Singh, Mangalore police commissioner, who is now in Hyderabad on
compulsory police training, might never return to Mangalore as he might be
transferred.
IGP (Western Range) Prathap Reddy says that Mr. Singh is now on a
two-month compulsory mid-career training, which includes a six-week training
program at National Police Academy in Hyderabad and a 2-week training program
at Cambridge University in Scotland.
Mr. Reddy is the in-charge commissioner of Mangalore in Mr. Singh’s absence, but he has declined to comment on rumors that Singh might be transferred from Mangalore. -MT-
