Bhatkal: The police have successfully traced all the seven people who
had gone missing on the way from Vijayawada to Bhatkal after raiding a
house at a place called Narasarao pet near Guntoor, some 150kms away
from Vijayawada. Two additional persons were found along with these
seven and all have been taken to Vijayawada police station from the
particular home, informed the inspector of Vijayawada II town police
station, Mr. S Prasad Rao. Speaking to SahilOnline on phone, Mr. Rao
said that along with two ladies, a 14 year old girl and four kids, two
more guys were found, and all have been taken to the police custody.
The news about the missing people along with their photos had been published in all the leading news papers in Andhara Pardesh and Karnataka. As a result, the owner of the house, which these people had rented for their stay, informed the police after recognizing them. Mr. Prasad Rao said that with this information, the police performed a raid on the particular house on the night connecting Sunday and Monday and found altogether nine people in the house.
The police informed that the two guys who were found along were identified as Shaikh Ameer (23) and Syed Baji (20), both residing in the vicinity of the two ladies Bibi Fathima and Bibi Salma in Vijayawada. The police believe that these ladies had an affair with those guys from a long time, and so the ladies with their own wish went along with those guys and together rented a house.
It should be recalled that the two sisters Bibi Fathima and Bibi Salma along with their respective two kids and a relative girl had left their house at Vijayawada on 11th September, informing their mother that they were going to the house of Imran Mashaikh, the husband of Bibi Fathima, at Bhatkal. The next day, the mother in law, Bibi Shakeela had informed her son-in-law about the departure of her daughters and the rest to Bhatkal, and had also informed that they had left to Hubli from Vijayawada by train, and from there they would be connecting to Bhatkal by bus. But, when these people did not reach Bhatkal even by night, Imran informed his mom-in-law about it. Even the next day, when these people failed to reach Bhatkal, the family got worried and tried to look for them at all the possible places. They searched with all the relatives, called each and everyone in the family, but to no avail. The husband of Bibi Salma, Syed Afsar immediately reached Vijayawada from Kuwait, when he received the news about his missing wife and kids and lodged a complaint at the police station. The media received the news about these missing people after twelve days, and immediately after that, the news papers in Karnataka and AP published the news along with the photographs of the respective people. After this, the police came to action and successfully traced these people within two days.
On one side, the police claim that both the sisters had left their house and were staying with the two guys with their own wish, while on other, Imran Mashaikh has said that he had been happily married to Bibi Fatima of Vijayawada for twelve years and there were no any clashes between them. According to Imran, he was unable to understand how his wife could have affair with any other guy when they were happy together. He doubts that his wife and sister-in-law were led astray by these respective youths or they might have taken them along after feeding them with something inappropriate.
With the news that the missing people have been traced, Imran Mashaikh has left to Vijayawada along with a relative of his, to get back his wife and children to his home at Bhatkal.
