iPhone 5: Samsung to sue Apple over LTE patent

New Delhi: The persistent battle between tech giants Apple and Samsung takes a new turn almost every day. And when there is a big product launch, the battle gets even more intensified. Perhaps that is the rule of the game.

Although nothing is official, yet the event stipulated for Wednesday at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Centre for the Arts has fanned a lot of speculations about the company’s new phone launch.

As the countdown for the Apple’s most anticipated phone dubbed as the iPhone 5 starts, rival Samsung has decided to sue the company for patent infringement over its reported use of long-term evolution (LTE) connectivity.

Reports have it that Samsung holds numerous patents for the fourth-generation wireless networking which apparently iPhone 5 will feature. -zee-
