Also there will be a SOUHARDA IFTAR on the occasion of Inauguration of Jamia Masjid at 6.15 p.m and all are cordially invited.
According to the information’s collected by Kemmannu News Network team member the new building is having the prayer hall which will accommodate 2000 worshippers and have the easily accessible amenities like washing areas and drinking water. The increase in the capacity of the mosque has come as welcome news to the worshippers who often find themselves cramped for space during Friday prayers and id rituals in the old mosque that can hold only a thousand people.
It is learnt that Hidayatullah Abbas Saheb, Managing Director of Dubai based Hidayat Group is the Main contributor to the expansion activities of Udupi Jamia Masjid.
There is no doubt the mosque will become a landmark in the heart of the District as it has a Gumbaz (Dome) and a minaret (Tower) which reflects the traditional Islamic architecture.
