: A young couple hailing from DK was found dead under mysterious
circumstances in Bangalore. The deceased are Sandeep Hegde (28), an
engineer and son of Chittaranjan Hegde of Thodar in Moodubidri, and
Soumya (26), a doctor and daughter of Dharmendra Jain, the owner of
Hotel Shanthi Sagar in Udupi.
Sources say that Sandeep, who worked for
Process Engineer at Tata Services, married Soumya four years back. They
lived in Amarajyothi Nagar in Vijayanagar in Bangalore.
Their dead bodies were found in their house last night, and it is widely believed that the couple committed suicide. Currently, their bodies have been taken to hospital for post mortem.
Neighbours suspected that wife may have ended her life first and after witnessing the tragedy husband too may have taken the extreme step. However, the exact cause of death is yet to be determined.
The Vijayanagar police, who have registered a case, are now investigating. - MT
